Third Lesson: I JUMPED!!! (Okay, so it was on the lowest setting, but it still counts.) This is Peppy, a sweet and patient Paint. So far, we've been working on trotting and posting, a little bit of cantering, and with this lesson - we worked on learning to jump.  Ingrid, Diane's daughter, is training me right now. (Diane is the owner of Tally-Ho Farm.) She is a wonderful rider and is a very good trainer. She will be teaching me the basics and once I'm okay there, I'll be working with Diane. They specialize in training for 3-Day Eventing. Eventing is a combination of 1) Dressage, 2) Cross-Country Jumping, and 3) Stadium Jumping.  (Before we get into all of that though, I'm learning how to stay on the horse...which I think will be a good thing.)
